Consider you are at a party and everyone was speaking about the Bad Ecomomy. How very good would you really feel if you could say ” My earnings are up and my organization is expanding”?

The impact of a tough economy can be difficult to see past but it can be a great time to begin a business. In fact, 16 of the 30 companies that make up the Dow industrial average were started during a economic downturn or depression. Some of these include Procter & Gamble, Disney, Alcoa, McDonald’s, General Electric and Johnson & Johnson.

These financial times can be an opportunity. The benefits of economic recession are that organizations that make it will end up with a greater market share than when they started.

How does one take advantage of the opportunity? By being known… How does one get known?  Marketing and promotion!

When times are hard we are compelled to look at where we are spending our funds. We have to advertise our organization. That’s just a requirement. If we can promote our companies more effectively while our competitor is cutting back, we can thrive while they dive.

Your prospective consumers or clients are using the World-wide-web.  more than 50% of all purchases arepreceded by an Internet Search.

The bottom line is you need to have a strong online presence. If you aren’t promoting yourself on the net you are missing a substantial opportunity!
